Significant Extell commercial projects include the W Times Square hotel in New York City, Boston’s InterContinental Hotel and Residences and the $200 million redevelopment of Chicago’s Insurance Exchange, for which Extell earned the 2002 Chicago Development of the Year award. In addition to 55 West 46th Street, Extell is currently developing a 60-­‐story, 1.8 M square foot tower in Manhattan1s Hudson Yards district designed by Kohn, Pederson, Fox and the renowned One57, a 90 story residential tower overlooking Central Park, designed by Christian de Portzamparc.
